New Game Screen

Greetings, Explorers and Enthusiasts
It has been some time since our last update—and for that, I owe you all an apology. Life took me on a detour: I needed a break to recharge and I also completed my Bachelor's degree. But I'm back now, ready to pour my heart back into Eryndor.
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter. Not just for the game, but for how we build it, share it, and grow together. Let me walk you through what's changed, what's coming, and why I'm more excited than ever.
A New Home: Next.js & Tailwind CSS
The website has undergone a complete transformation. We've left behind the old stack with HTML, JavaScript, CSS as well as Jekyll/Ruby and moved to Next.js with Tailwind CSS.
Why? Because performance matters. Next.js brings server-side rendering, automatic code splitting, and blazing-fast page loads. Tailwind gives us the flexibility to craft beautiful, responsive designs without drowning in custom CSS. The result? A website that feels snappy, modern, and ready for what's next.
Self-Hosting: Building Our Own Future
As part of this migration, we're moving toward self-hosting. This isn't just about control — it's about possibility.
With our own infrastructure, we can build features that third-party hosting would never allow like A Comprehensive Wiki, Mod and Dev Portal, Website Analysis and native integration on company tools and perks like Nextcloud or Jellyfin.
This is the foundation for a truly open, community-driven world.
Steam Page: Your Voice Matters
I've launched an official Steam page for Eryndor.
Right now, the page showcases not much, but in the futur it will show our art, gameplay snippets, and lore. You'll be also able to wishlist the game directly from there. Every wishlist adds weight to our signal, helping us reach more players who feel the same spark I do.
Main Menu Overhaul: Concept Art & Vision
I'm currently overhauling the main menu—and yes, there's concept art.

What's Next? In-Game Focus
For now, the website updates are just the beginning. I'm shifting my focus back to what matters most: the game itself.
Expect deeper systems, richer interactions, and more of Eryndor's world unfolding before your eyes. The foundation is solid. Now we build upon it.
A Personal Note
There's one more thing I want to share. Life has been busy. I needed that break and finishing my Bachelor's was a major milestone. But now, I'm looking ahead.
I'm planning to pursue a Master's degree, with dreams of moving to London or Copenhagen.
This move won't slow me down. If anything, it'll fuel me. New perspectives, new people and new stories. All of it will feed back into this world we're building together.
Thank You
To everyone who's still here — Thank you! Your patience means more than I can say.
Eryndor is more than a game. It's a promise: to build something beautiful, something lasting, something we can all be proud of.
I'll see you in the world soon.
